Scholarship Theme: Administration, maintenance, and development of the infrastructure supporting the gamification process for the Introdução à Engenharia Informática course. Development of the corresponding assessment exercises.
Duration: 3 months
Maximum Duration Including Renewals: 4 months
Objectives
- Application of the technical and scientific knowledge, acquired in the academic context, to the development of software applications and systems.
- Application of the technical and scientific knowledge, acquired in the academic context, to the management and administration of the IT infrastructure supporting the gamification process of the Introdução à Engenharia Informática course.
- Application of the technical and scientific knowledge, acquired in the academic context, to the design and development of assessment exercises for the gamification process of the Introdução à Engenharia Informática course.
Work Plan
- Development of the infrastructure supporting the gamification process for the Introdução à Engenharia Informática course.
- Development of assessment exercises for the gamification process of the Introdução à Engenharia Informática course.
- Administration and maintenance of the IT infrastructure supporting the gamification process for the Introdução à Engenharia Informática course.
- Continuous improvement of the infrastructure through bug fixes, enhancements, and the development of new assessment exercises for use in future editions of the Introdução à Engenharia Informática course.
Contest Procedure
Applications must be exclusively submitted on the admissions platform of the Instituto Superior Técnico at https://fenix.tecnico.ulisboa.pt/fenixedu-admissions and requires registration and validation of the candidate's identity. Selection process
Contest Evaluation Method(s)
Curricular evaluation weighted to 30% on a scale of 20 points with a minimum of 12 points needed for admission.
Adequação do perfil dos candidatos aos objectivos do projeto a desenvolver com base nos requisitos de admissão e experiência relevante no desenvolvimento de infraestruturas de suporte e exercícios de avaliação para o processo de gamificação das aprendizagens de ucs ou similares. Weighted to 70% on a scale of 20 points with a minimum of 12 points needed for admission.
The minimum final grade needed for admission is 12 points.
Conditions for the Contest Evaluation
- The curricular evaluation corresponds to the candidate's degree average as recorded in the academic and administrative management system (Fénix).
- The suitability of the candidates' profile for the objectives of the project will be assessed based on the information provided in the curriculum vitae and motivation letter, taking into account relevant experience in the development of supporting infrastructure and assessment exercises for the gamification of learning in academic courses or similar educational settings. An interview may be conducted if deemed relevant by the selection committee.
