School of Dentistry - OMFS Adjunct Faculty

The University of Utah School of Dentistry (UUSOD) seeks qualified candidates for a faculty position in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS), working approximately 1-2 days per week (0.2 - 0.4 FTE). The UUSOD is committed to excellence in education, patient care, and service to underserved populations across Utah.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Didactic, simulation, and clinical teaching
• Work collaboratively with all UUSOD sections, including pediatrics, prosthodontics, endodontics, oral pathology, general dentistry, and periodontics

Minimum Qualifications

• Possess a DDS, DMD, or equivalent degree and be eligible for an unrestricted dental license in Utah. Requirements for a Utah dental license are found on DOPL.
• Completion of an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in teaching or higher education
• Background in clinical practice
