Fully remote, hybrid and/or in-person Faculty Neuroradiologist at the University of Alabama
The Department of Radiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a neuroradiologist. UAB is a state-of-the-art academic medical center with a robust and growing neuroradiology service. There is a collaborative relationship with our neuroscience colleagues, including interdisciplinary conferences and multiple research collaborations for those who are interested.
In-person, hybrid, and fully remote employment opportunities are available. A home workstation will be provided.
An established record of scholarly work is valued but not required. Both academic and 100% clinical positions are available. This role involves working with and teaching residents and fellows.
In line with our department's commitment to work-life balance and flexibility, there are several positions available to suit the candidate's preferences:
- 5 PM-10 PM CST evening shifts (remote): 7 days on, 7 days off
- 2PM-10PM CST swing shift (remote): 5 days on M-F, 1 week off (alternating weeks), no weekends
- 5 days a week M-F (on-site, hybrid, or remote): typically 7-8 hour days, very few required weekends (4 or less)
Per-click and scheduled shift-based voluntary moonlighting are available for additional income.
Applicants should be ABR-Certified or have passed the Core Examination and be on track to take the Certifying Examination. Fellowship training or established strong competency in neuroradiology and CAQ or CAQ-eligibility in neuroradiology is required, and candidates must be eligible to practice medicine in Alabama.
