About the Project

RAC1 is a small GTPase protein that functions as a key signaling node downstream of various microenvironmental signaling pathways. RAC1B, a RAC1 variant with an extra19 amino acid insert, is overexpressed in various cancers, including breast, colorectal and lung cancers.
