"School of Nursing Adjunct Clinical Faculty, Chillicothe Campus, Beginning Spring Semester 2026 (POOL POSTING)"

The Ohio University School of Nursing, Chillicothe Campus, seeks adjunct clinical focus faculty candidates with an emphasis on teaching clinical competencies to Associate and Bachelor Degree Nursing students. These positions are term positions and will be filled as need arises for the Chillicothe campus.

Faculty are expected to plan, implement, and evaluate instruction for student clinical and simulation lab experiences. These individuals will provide instruction, supervision, guidance, and counsel to nursing students in relation to BSN program objectives and will include (1) planning student learning experiences; (2) evaluating student progress; (3) recording and reporting as required by the School of Nursing.

Clinical sites are located in the following areas of Ohio: Circleville, OH; Chillicothe, OH; Columbus, OH; Gallipolis, OH; Greenfield, OH; Jackson, OH; Lucasville, OH; Portsmouth, OH.

Seeking experience in: Mental Health, Medical Surgery, Gerontology.

The need for these positions is undetermined at this time and is dependent on operational need including enrollment and staffing.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing by the time of appointment. At least two years (24 months full time equivalent) of clinical nursing experience in the United States is required. A current unrestricted Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license or the eligibility to obtain an unrestricted Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.

Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Nursing.

Pay Rate: Compensation is an hourly rate commensurate on highest achieved nursing degree.
