Position: Scientific Research Assistant (ACS) (PhD student member)

Skills/Qualifications
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physics, or a related field, as well as a Master's degree in one of the same fields.
- Possess solid knowledge of chemistry or physics.
Specific Requirements
- Knowledge of quantum chemistry, quantum mechanics, classical mechanics and/or statistical physics will be considered an advantage.
- Be enrolled, or be willing to enroll, in a PhD programme in Computational Chemistry.
- Be willing to travel both nationally and internationally.
- Be highly motivated, creative, and possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrate proficiency in English (mandatory).

The application file must include the documents required by Law No. 183/2024 on the Status of Research, Development and Innovation Personnel, namely:
- Application letter addressed to the ICMPP management requesting participation in the competition.
- Copy of the identity document and copies of documents certifying any change of name, where applicable.
- Copies of Bachelor's and Master's degree diplomas, together with academic transcripts.
- Copy/extract from the General Register of Employees (Reges) proving previous employment experience, where applicable.
- Curriculum Vitae tailored to the requirements of the position.
- List of scientific contributions, accompanied by supporting documents, where applicable.
- Motivation letter (free format) explaining the applicant's motivation for applying.
- GDPR Declaration.
- An essay on the required topic presenting the applicant's personal development plan, based on previous university activities (Bachelor's and Master's studies), and explaining how their knowledge supports future doctoral studies in Computational Chemistry. The essay must not exceed three (3) pages and must be written in English.
