Offer Description

The Space Science Institute – INFLPR Subsidiary (ISS) is organizing a recruitment competition, in accordance with Law 183/2024 on the Status of Research and Development Personnel, for 1 position of Scientific Research Assistant, part-time (5 hours/day, 25 hours/week), on a fixed-term contract of 6 months, with the possibility of extension. The position has been created within the framework of the project "A Smart, Automated, and Trustworthy Data Ecosystem" (RegulAIze).

Skills/Qualifications

Responsibilities of the selected candidate:

Analyze large-scale textual datasets;
Co-develop new Large Language Model (LLM) artificial intelligence systems in collaboration with the partners of the RegulAIze consortium.
Present the scientific results achieved within the RegulAIze consortium and at relevant scientific conferences and events;
Carry out documentation activities and prepare outreach materials;
Contribute to the implementation of the activities specified in the RegulAIze Project Grant Agreement.

Specific Requirements

Proficiency in the programming languages C++, Python, and Julia;
Previous participation as a team member in European research projects funded under the European Commission's Horizon Programme constitutes an advantage;
Good communication and teamwork skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Languages: ENGLISH - Level: Good
