Offer Description
We’re hiring at Deep Piction 🧠🔬
Deep Piction is a Munich-based biotechnology company developing advanced tissue-clearing, 3D imaging, spatial biology, and AI technologies to accelerate drug discovery and therapeutic development.
We combine whole-organ and whole-body imaging at cellular resolution with quantitative image analysis, spatial molecular profiling, and AI. Our technologies support internal therapeutic programs and collaborations with pharmaceutical and biotechnology partners.
We are looking for a Scientist – Tissue Clearing & Image Analysis (m/f/d) to help run, expand, and standardize our tissue-clearing, light-sheet microscopy, and quantitative image-analysis workflows.
The role at a glance ✨
This is a hands-on scientific position with a strong project-driver and science-enabler focus.
You will take responsibility for tissue-clearing and 3D imaging projects, coordinate closely with experimental, computational, and business-facing teams, and help translate complex biological samples into robust, quantitative datasets.
The ideal candidate can independently manage several projects, troubleshoot demanding workflows, maintain high quality standards, and communicate clearly with scientists from different disciplines.
What you’ll do ✅
- Lead tissue-clearing and 3D imaging projects for internal R&D programs and external collaborations
- Plan and execute whole-organ and whole-body clearing, staining, imaging, and analysis workflows
- Operate and further develop light-sheet microscopy pipelines
- Support quantitative image analysis, visualization, atlas registration, and biological interpretation
- Develop scalable image-analysis and automation pipelines together with our AI team 🤖
- Improve protocols, quality-control procedures, documentation, reproducibility, and throughput
- Coordinate projects across experimental, imaging, AI, and therapeutic-development teams
- Maintain and support advanced light-sheet microscopy infrastructure
- Train and support junior scientists and technical staff
- Contribute to scientific reports, partner presentations, publications, patents, and technology-development projects
- Optionally support animal-study planning and regulatory documentation
