In the School of Art we specialise in making, curating and writing about contemporary art in a dynamic, critical and interdisciplinary environment. We have a world leading reputation, and work with a network of artists, curators, galleries and museums both in London and internationally to create an inspiring and dynamic place in which to study and develop an artistic practice. About the Role

We are seeking a talented and creative individual to teach in our Sculpture-Wood Art Practice Area. You will be part of our highly skilled team which provides world class practical teaching to all students in the School of Art at Goldsmiths.

You will be working in our Sculpture – Wood Art Practice Area. Providing one to one teaching enabling students to develop and realise their ideas across a wide range of physical/digital making processes and applications. You’ll need to be able to work in and support a large and fully equipped wood workshop including laser cutting and CNC.

About the Candidate

A degree (or equivalent) from an art background is essential. You will have a proven expertise in arts production. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to use initiative in the performance of your duties, to co-ordinate, plan and prioritise work, work without close supervision, work flexibly and be willing to work as part of a team and have the ability to adapt to new technologies and to self-skill where appropriate.
