ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES DEPENDING ON LOCATION:

• Have enthusiasm and interest for computers and technology.
• Focus to become knowledgeable on all Aztecnology department store products.
• Enroll and train on Apple SEED app minimally attaining 1000 points per month.
• Greets customers and offers assistance according to standard procedures.
• Answers inquiries, provides information and interacts with customers according to established guidelines.
• Answers telephone inquiries and correctly reroutes calls when appropriate.
• Daily functions include operating the cash register and working on the sales floor.
• Processes cash and credit card transactions on registers.
• Balances the cash drawer at the end of shift.
• Handle product returns/exchanges according to store policies.
• Stock/restock of inventory and replenish Bookstore items.
• Maintains clean work area and equipment.
• Uses interpersonal skills to build customer confidence.
• Maintains positive working relationships with customers, co-workers and supervisors.
• Assists other departments as needed.
• Must comply with and ensure continued, consistent compliance with all company policies, and federal, state, and local laws/regulations including but not limited to: employment, safety, and health.
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

The minimum requirement for applicants is a High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) degree; with one or more years' retail/customer service experience is preferred. Related experience and/or training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. Strong communication and interpersonal skill are required.
