Offer Description
Public selection, by qualifications and examinations, for the recruitment of a second-level technologist, with a fixed-term employment relationship (lasting 18 months) and part-time working hours (50%), for a commitment equal to an average of 18 hours per week in the quarter, for technical and administrative support activities within the project "FANTEMIA – A multimodal approach for fake news detection: stylistics, sociolinguistics and AI", funded by the Ministry of University and Research from the Italian Science Fund 2024-2025 (FIS Call 3) - Department of Humanities of the University of Catania. The personnel unit to be recruited will carry out activities with a high technical and professional content, including those listed below: technical support for the compilation, structuring, and documentation of the project's corpus of journalistic articles (collection, normalization, and cataloging of digital and printed sources); management and maintenance of the open-access platform for organizing, displaying, and consulting data; Scientific editing and editorial coordination of project products (reports, articles, dissemination materials); support for metadata management and the application of FAIR and open access principles; assistance to the Research Manager (PI) and individual researchers in managing reporting on activities; technical-administrative assistance for dissemination activities (organizing events and preparing communication materials); support for the preparation, collection and entry of documentation, for the purpose of reporting on project activities, on dedicated platforms; verification of administrative procedures linked to project implementation in line with Community rules.
