About the role - About the role
Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a permanent Kaiāwhina matua/Mata awhirangi, Amo Aronui - Executive Assistant and Office Manager, Office of the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (FHSS). You will provide high-quality executive services, administrative support, and office management oversight to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the office.
Your skills - About you
You will be an experienced EA and Office Manager adept at thinking two steps ahead to anticipate the needs of your manager. You will be a motivated, customer-focused individual with proven experience in successfully managing internal and external relationships.
You will thrive in this role with your excellent manner with people, strong attention to detail, and exemplary self-management skills. This fast-paced role is suited to someone who relishes working autonomously as well as contributing positively to a high performing team. This role is busy, challenging, extremely rewarding and interesting for the individual with the right temperament.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience as an EA, PA, or Office Manager within a large and/or complex organisation.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
- Outstanding people and communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- An advanced level of computer literacy.
- Ability to reconcile financial information and support various HR processes.
- Proactive mindset and can-do attitude with the willingness to enhance office efficiency.
- Calm, with a solution-based approach.
