About This Opportunity
We’re looking for a proactive and highly organised Senior Administration Officer to join our team and support scholarships that make a real impact for students. In this pivotal role, you’ll provide high-quality administrative support while working closely with colleagues and stakeholders across UQ to help ensure scholarships are administered efficiently.
You’ll help contribute to key processes and initiatives, maintain accurate systems and records, and support the effective delivery of services within a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Provide high-level administrative support to assist with the delivery of team activities and services.
- Coordinate processes, documentation, and communications while maintaining accurate records and systems.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support projects and day-to-day operations.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance service delivery.

About You
- A relevant degree with subsequent experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and practical experience.
- Strong ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and guidelines, particularly when managing complex or sensitive matters.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks, take initiative, and contribute to improving processes and workflows.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with senior staff, students, parents, school representatives, and external stakeholders.
- Strong digital literacy, including experience using a range of software packages and enterprise systems, combined with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
