The School of Medical and Health Sciences
The School of Medical and Health Sciences at Edith Cowan University (ECU) offers undergraduate, postgraduate and research degrees. Academics in the School are involved in research and teaching relating to a wide range of health disciplines. The ECU Health Centres are community-based primary healthcare facilities in Wanneroo and Yanchep, providing multidisciplinary services and hubs for health education and research.
About the Opportunity
This role is responsible for effectively providing a broad range of higher-level administrative roles, functions and services to the ECU Health Centres staff and operations. The portfolio of responsibilities includes but is not limited to: committee support; gathering reporting requirement statistics and updating relevant documentation; event coordination; website updates; internal and external communications including social media updates; checking and processing financial claims. The position will suit an individual who is self-motivated and thrives on working in a busy and complex work environment.
About you
You should have:
- Completion of a Diploma with subsequent experience, or equivalent expertise, and experience in providing administrative support within a large organisation;
and be able to demonstrate:
- A strong commitment to exceptional customer service to achieve quality outcomes;
- Demonstrated record of committee support is required;
- Demonstrated high level of administrative skills with attention to detail, accurately maintaining administrative systems and procedures;
- Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise numerous competing tasks with minimal supervision;
- Interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop good relationships and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with website content management systems and social media platforms is highly desirable.
