Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Senior Adviser, Funding and Planning to join the Strategy and Planning team on a permanent, full-time contract.
Key responsibilities:
- Translate complex data and performance information into clear, actionable insights for leaders and operational teams.
- Partner with departments across the University to design, refine, and embed meaningful KPIs that support performance management, decision‑making, and accountability.
- Provide advice on funding conditions attached to TEC funding and ensure that there are processes in place to comply with all conditions.
Ō pūmanawa - About you
You will be a motivated, detail-focused individual who can take the initiative and work across several teams to develop and deliver key performance information and planning insights.
Key requirements:
- Demonstrated experience supporting the development of planning documents such as annual reports and investment plans.
- Demonstrated experience developing and measuring key performance indicators.
- Previous experience providing advice on regulatory compliance and funding in the tertiary sector.
- Previous experience working with a data warehouse or authoring SQL reports to support performance monitoring.
