Senior Advisor Labor Market
Job Summary: Contribute to a healthy labor market in healthcare by addressing challenges like increasing care demand and personnel shortages. Work on labor issues, education of care professionals, and creating an attractive work environment in university medical centers (umc’s). The role involves supporting the NFU, the branch organization of Dutch university medical centers, in their societal tasks.
Responsibilities: Prepare and advise on board meetings, organize decision-making on relevant topics, serve as the first point of contact for executives and colleagues on dossiers, maintain contacts at administrative levels with organizations like the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport (VWS), collaborate on lobbying towards the Dutch Parliament, and engage in strategic advising and policy development.
Qualifications and Requirements: Completed WO-level education in a relevant field, familiarity with dynamic political-administrative environments, affinity with labor market and political policy, at least five years of relevant work experience, experience in strategic policy advising, ability to build support for advice and translate it into actions, and preferably knowledge of the umc field or a branch association.
What the Employer Offers: Salary between €5847 and €7424 per month based on full-time employment and experience, 8% vacation allowance, thirteenth month, favorable pension contribution (70% employer, 30% employee), provision of a phone and laptop, initial one-year contract with prospect of permanent position, opportunities for training, hybrid working support, and good office accessibility.
