Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the full-time position of Senior Assistant Director of Admissions Events & Campus Visits in the Office of Admissions and Merit Awards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise the student tour guide program, including recruiting, hiring, training, and evaluating student tour guides to ensure superior customer service and accurate information dissemination.
• Manage the daily campus visit program for prospective students, families, educators, and special groups, serving as the primary contact, and handle Welcome Center operations including setup and technology needs.
• Coordinate and plan enrollment and yield events such as Atheneum Scholars, on-campus and off-campus admitted student events, counselor luncheons, and other in-person events.
• Raise awareness of the campus visit experience among the campus community and provide data for assessment and improvement.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all constituents, including faculty, staff, students, visitors, and the community.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of experience in admissions or student recruitment in a college or university setting.

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree, experience in supervising student workers and tour guides, and coordinating large-scale recruitment events.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Sensitivity to prospective students' needs, effective communication, ability to handle confidential matters, proficiency in admissions CRM and basic software, teamwork, excellent oral and written skills, and leadership capabilities.
