When not traveling, this role is hybrid with on-site expectations in Ann Arbor, MI 3 days per week. Significant travel within the U.S. (at least 50%) is required to various locations. - Donor Cultivation, Solicitation, and Stewardship
- In coordination with the Director, work a geographic area of prospects and donors.
- Identify and qualify a portfolio of prospects with capacity to make Major Gifts ($100,000 or more).
- Gather data, assess prospects, and develop strategies designed to realize the current and lifetime giving potential of individual prospects.
- Strategic Planning, Management and Campaign Participation
- Management responsibilities for gift officers in assigned geographical region.
- Develop strategy for successful fundraising within assigned region.
- Participate in the development of geographic area objectives and strategies.
- Participate in stewardship strategy setting with Donor Relations for assigned geographic area.
- Develop and maintain appropriate and effective reporting of activity and monitoring of resources or expenditures associated with the program and portfolio.
- Assist in the execution of a major School-wide fundraising campaign as it relates to the University-wide campaign.
- Supervision, Volunteer Collaboration
- Supervises two (2) Major Gift Officers
- Provides guidance and feedback
- Assigns and monitors workload, ensuring quality standards
- Determines schedule and other administrative duties
- Partner with volunteer committees and individual alumni volunteers. Coordinate volunteer leadership for regional campaign fundraising activities, as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
Salary Information: The posting range for this position is $86,600 to $116,900. This posting range reflects multiple factors involved in determining compensation, such as skills, experience, training, certifications, and other organizational needs. At Ross, it is not common for new hires to be offered a salary at the upper end of the range. Compensation decisions are based on the details of each situation.
