We're looking for someone with strong hands-on PC-DMIS programming and GD&T experience who can independently develop CMM programs, solve complex measurement challenges, and work directly with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality.
This is a programming-focused position, not a CMM operator role.We know experienced CMM programmers are in demand, so we're willing to be flexible. Full-time and part-time candidates are encouraged to apply, and flexible scheduling options are available.
Create, modify, and optimize PC-DMIS CMM programsDevelop measurement strategies for complex plastic and precision-machined componentsPerform dimensional and first article inspectionsTroubleshoot complex dimensional and measurement issuesInterpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&TDevelop inspection plans and measurement methodsPerform Gage R&R and measurement system analysisSupport SPC and process capability activitiesWork directly with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing to resolve dimensional issuesSupport validation and new product introduction activitiesTrain inspectors and manufacturing personnel on measurement methods and best practicesQualifications
3+ years of hands-on CMM programming experience preferredStrong proficiency programming with Hexagon PC-DMISAbility to independently create and troubleshoot CMM programsStrong knowledge of GD&T and blueprint readingSolid understanding of dimensional metrologyExperience with precision measurement and inspection equipmentStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsEquivalent combinations of hands-on experience, education, and training will be considered.Experience with any of the following is helpful:
