Responsibilities
The appointee will provide administrative and operational support for the Office of Communications and Public Affairs in terms of events and marketing.
- Co-ordinate and provide logistical support for university-wide ceremonies and events including but not limited to the University’s Honorary Fellowship Presentation Ceremony, Honorary Doctorate Conferment Ceremony, Congregation, and Flag-raising ceremonies, etc
- Engage both internal and external parties in developing marketing materials, including brochures, booklets, invitations, and onsite decoration etc
- Manage relationship and cultivate effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide support for stakeholder engagement strategies and develop initiatives to promote the University
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisors
Requirements
- A recognised degree or an equivalent qualification with at least 5 years of relevant working experience
- Proficiency in computer skills, including software for graphic design, video filming / editing and webpage creation is a plus
- A good team player, attentive to details and self-motivated with hands on skills to execute projects and work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent command of written and verbal English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua being an advantage
- Good communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
Candidates with less/more experience will also be considered for appointment at a relevant rank.
Salary and Fringe Benefits
The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits and mandatory provident fund and gratuity.
