- Salary HEO7 starting from $106,472 plus 17% superannuation (pro-rata for part time)
About the position
The Senior Coordinator Regional Health Wellbeing will represent the Wellbeing Services on the Shepparton campus and act as a point of contact for students for wellbeing support and information, providing assessment, therapeutic counselling, crisis intervention, case coordination, and referral. They will facilitate the coordination of care and individual support for students experiencing significant psychosocial issues affecting their personal and academic success.
In addition to providing counselling support to individual students, the role requires active participation in campus events such as orientation, student engagement and health promotions activities, as well as a high level of collaboration and consultation with other academic and professional staff. The Senior Coordinator Regional Wellbeing will actively engage with the campus community to promote mental health and wellbeing among students.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, you will have:
- Qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or equivalent including registration/membership the relevant body, e.g., registration with AHPRA, or membership with AASW and experience, post-qualification, in assessment, evidence-based therapeutic interventions and case management, including working with complex client presentations and diverse client groups.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, especially the capacity to work collaboratively and cooperatively in small teams.
- Demonstrated high level of self-motivation and personal management skills.
- Experience working in a high-demand service and the capacity to be flexible in a dynamic environment.
