Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops NSF budget annual requests and industry collaboration budgets
- Manages NSF Center for Synthetic Organic Electrochemistry budget and budgets for industry collaborations
- Organizes the writing, editing, and submission of the annual and final NSF reports
- Organizes annual all hands meetings, annual external advisory board meetings, and weekly science meetings
- Manages the outreach coordinator and other staff of the center
- Attends monthly meeting with NSF program managers and presents monthly updates to NSF
- Collect and maintain success metric data
- Maintains the website and other activities to recruit new graduate students and postdocs to the center
- Ensures all team members are following the data management plan and NSF policies
- Organize NSF program reviews
- Coordinate and manage >10 subawards including the subaward for external evaluation
- Coordinate and manage industrial contracts with industrial collaborators of the center
- Maintains center social media presence
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 6 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience managing a multi-university National Science Foundation Center
- Experience with subawards and industrial collaborations
Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $69,098 to $102,024 annually. Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck. The University of Missouri provides generous leave, health plans, and retirement contributions that add to your bottom line.
