We’re delighted to share a fantastic opportunity to join our People Team at the British Library! We’re looking for two experienced Senior Employee Relations Advisors to play a key role in delivering high-quality educational and operational employee relations support.
About the role
You will manage a complex caseload covering a wide range of employee relations matters, ensuring that all casework is managed timely and in a fair and transparent manner. You will ensure that all work aligns with current legislation, best practice, case law, and organisational policies. You will provide high-quality advice and support to enable early resolution of workplace issues, while understanding organisational challenges and risks and offering practical solutions to mitigate against this.
Striving for excellence, you will coach and support managers to build confidence and capability in handling employee relations matters, to positively influence and make an impact through the successful execution of your role.
About you
You will bring with substantial experience of providing employee relations services to staff at all levels. You will have a solution-oriented approach with sound judgement and the ability to professionally challenge when needed. You will have the ability to quickly and effectively build working relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.
