- UQ Poche Centre for Indigenous Health
- Full-time fixed-term position for up to 12 months with base salary in the range $104,616.68 - $113,920.12 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 7)
About This Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Engagement & Project Coordinator to join the UQ Poche Centre for Indigenous Health and support the ATLAS Indigenous Primary Care Surveillance Network (ATLAS). This role offers high autonomy and the chance to contribute to nationally significant work improving sexual health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, while working as part of a multidisciplinary team and with other Indigenous colleagues across the centre.
ATLAS is a national Indigenous-led collaboration that works with Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations and Services to understand and address STIs and blood-borne viruses, translating de-identified clinical data into reports and dashboards that services use to monitor trends and strengthen care.
In this role, you will lead engagement across the ATLAS Network, build and sustain culturally respectful relationships, develop and implement engagement strategies, coordinate major activities including the annual ATLAS Stakeholder Workshop, and provide guidance on using ATLAS data tools, while contributing to continuous improvement and working closely with the Project Manager.
We recognise that experience and pathways into roles can vary. Even if you don’t meet every requirement, if you are an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person who is passionate about strengthening community-led approaches and supporting the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, we encourage you to reach out for a confidential discussion about this opportunity.
