  • Line manage the Events Marketing Manager, providing strategic guidance, coaching, and development.
  • Maintain oversight of event platforms, branding, materials, and supplier relationships to ensure consistency and value.
  • Champion data capture and compliance, ensuring event reporting informs continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.

What we are looking for:

  • Significant experience leading high-profile events in a complex organisation, with demonstrable strategic and operational impact.
  • Expertise across physical, hybrid, and digital event formats.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience of evaluating event performance and making data-driven improvements.
  • Line management experience and a collaborative leadership style.
  • A solution-focused mindset and commitment to innovation in event delivery and audience engagement.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, event platforms, and digital marketing tools.
  • A clear understanding of the role of events in supporting recruitment, research dissemination, and brand building within the higher education context

What we can offer you:

  • The opportunity to develop your career at a world-leading institution and be part of our mission to continue science for humanity
  • Benefit from sector-leading salary and remuneration package (including 41 days off a year and generous pension schemes)
  • Get access to a range of workplace benefits including a flexible working policy from day 1, generous family leave packages, on-site leisure facilities and a cycle-to-work scheme
