FACULTY OF SCIENCEDEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRYSenior Executive Officer (25260514)

Responsibilities:The appointee is expected to provide administrative support to the Department to:

• Render secretarial support to the Department;
• Perform RPg programme administration and other curriculum-related duties;
• Serve committees;
• Organise seminars/symposia;
• Handle research grant applications and research staff recruitments; and
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree preferably with five years of relevant work experience;
• Strong communication, organisational and analytical skills, and a strong sense of responsibility;
• Be proactive, mature and able to work independently; and
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) and literacy in computing applications are required.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend a written assessment.The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years.
