The Senior Executive Research Services ensures effective service delivery, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement, supporting both routine and moderately complex research-related matters.

Job Responsibilities

• Research Grants and Ethics Support: Guide academic staff through the preparation and submission of internal and external research grant and ethics applications
• Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with funding bodies, collaborators, and institutional offices to facilitate information flow and clarify procedural matters
• Coordination of Research Systems: Maintain and update institutional research systems and trackers (e.g., grants, outputs, contracts, ethics)
• Reporting and Data Compilation: Collate data and prepare standard reports related to research metrics, grants, and ethics approvals
• Process Documentation and Improvement: Contribute to the creation and refinement of SOPs and templates
• Capacity Building and Engagement: Support workshops, briefings, and internal training for researchers and new staff

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Business, Science, Public Administration)
• 3–5 years in research administration or higher education
• Experience preparing or reviewing research proposals, ethics applications, or grants
• Competence in working with institutional systems and reporting tools
