Boston University's Framingham Heart Study, located in Framingham MA, seeks a Sr. Data Manager/Analyst to serve as a senior technical lead responsible for end-to-end data management, statistical programming, and data integration activities that support the Framingham Heart Study and the FHS Laboratory Department. This role oversees the design and maintenance of secure, scalable data pipelines; ensures high-quality dataset production; and supports FHS research studies across their full lifecycle. Working closely with IT and scientific teams, this position drives improvements in data standards, reporting workflows, and data governance practices. It provides analytical support to investigators, resolves complex data issues, and contributes to training and best practice development. The role also guides the modernization of legacy data assets, integrates emerging data sources, and helps shape long term departmental data strategy.
Required Skills
As a condition of employment, employee must adhere to the security requirements defined by NIST SP 800-53 Rev.5 Moderate Bachelor's w 5-8 years of related experience, Master's degree with 3-5 years of related experience preferred. Candidates must be fluent in SAS and R programming languages.
