Senior HDR Liaison Officer

- Remuneration: $109,157 to $118,193 pa, (HEW6) (inclusive of $92,239 to $99,875 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)
- Location: Gardens Point (hybrid option available)

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Senior HDR Liaison Officer to join the Graduate Research Centre, Research Portfolio, Academic Division.
As a Senior HDR Liaison Officer, you'll be part of a busy and dynamic team supporting our Higher Degree by Research Students. The ideal applicant will have a client service focus and thrive in a busy, deadline driven environment.

The Graduate Research Centre provides exceptional service and support to our Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students. Through the provision of tailored support services, the GRC puts the student at the centre of all that we do, striving to exceed the expectations of our HDR students and supervisors from admission through to graduation.
The GRC includes two dedicated teams working collaboratively to provide seamless, client-focused, efficient and effective services to HDR students..
What you need to succeed
1. Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to the completion of a degree in conjunction with subsequent relevant experience.
2. Proven substantial experience managing complex student cases, and professional knowledge of providing student customer service and ability to provide relevant advice.
3. Experience in managing work flow in a client service centre environment, including the proven ability to escalate, prioritise and redirect enquiries as necessary, ensuring a smooth handover and follow up.
4. Demonstrated high level oral and written communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to clearly communicate, consult, negotiate, and liaise with individuals both external and internal to QUT.
5. Evidence of the commitment to continuous improvement with demonstrated experience of the ability to identify and document issues as part of ongoing quality assurance.
6. Demonstrated digital literacy skills with a large range of software, and the capacity to quickly learn new systems.
