Senior Instructional Designer
Job Description
This contract role presents an exciting secondment opportunity with our strategic academy partners. NUS-ISS is seeking a seasoned Senior Instructional Designer to craft and deliver innovative learning programmes in high-demand fields such as AI, Data Engineering, and Product Management. This position offers a rare chance to lead strategic projects, collaborate with industry leaders, and drive national digital capability development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Develop Learning Programmes: Develop comprehensive, learner-focused programmes for technical areas, combining self-paced and instructor-led formats.
- Innovate with Hybrid Models: Apply flipped classroom and blended learning approaches, incorporating engaging interactive eLearning modules.
- Agile Content Development: Rapidly prototype, iterate, and refine learning materials using stakeholder feedback.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner closely with senior leaders and subject matter experts to ensure learning outcomes align with organizational objectives.
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluate learner feedback and performance data to continuously enhance programme impact.
Qualifications
- Education: A reputable university degree.
- Experience: At least 7 years in adult instructional design, demonstrating proven expertise in technical subjects and corporate training.
- Skills:
- Deep understanding of instructional design frameworks.
- Proficiency in hybrid and blended learning strategies.
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of agile development processes and learning models (70:20:10)
- Preferred: Background in government L&D initiatives and vendor coordination.
