Job Description
Information Systems & Computing (ISC) supports the University’s IT needs. The HireIT Services team delivers IT services to clients across campus.
Responsibilities
- Engage daily with clients via phone, email, ticket system, and desk-side support.
- Maintain knowledge of client hardware and applications, update documentation, and collaborate on IT solutions.
- Act as a subject matter expert, mentor junior staff, and stay updated on new technologies.
- Manage desktop tasks including configuration, imaging, software deployment, and security for patches and upgrades.
- Establish standards for network technologies and implement security measures.
- Manage projects with clients, vendors, and IT teams; participate in campus initiatives.
- Handle ticket queue, act as escalation point, and provide occasional after-hours coverage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science and 2-3 years of experience or equivalent.
- Experience with configuring and supporting client systems in a managed environment.
- Skills in MS domain, software deployment, endpoint management systems like BigFix and Jamf.
- Familiarity with security measures and technical support for Mac and Windows systems.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and in teams.
Salary and Benefits
Pay range: $70,500.00 - $80,000.00 annually. The University offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance, tuition assistance, retirement plans, and more.
