Role Purpose

• Faculty position in Microelectronics for Photonic Communications.
• Appointment at Senior Lecturer or Lecturer level in the School of Engineering, in collaboration with Tyndall.
• Develop and lead a research programme in microelectronic circuit design for photonic communications.
• Potential for collaboration with industrial partners and existing Tyndall/UCC research groups.

Candidate Profile

• PhD in Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Track record in microelectronics circuit design and experimental validation.
• Ability to develop innovative research aligned with UCC Futures – Quantum & Photonics.
• Demonstrated ability to lead independent research programmes.
• Teaching capabilities in related areas are required.
