You’ll work with external partners to ensure our curriculum meets the evolving needs of the sector, support students on their professional journey, and play a key role in the growth of our research culture.

We’re seeking individuals with:

  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Midwife
  • A Master’s degree in a relevant field (be part way through one or willingness to undertake one)
  • A teaching qualification (e.g. PGCert or equivalent)
  • Contemporary experience in midwifery practice
  • Commitment to evidence-based, compassionate and woman-centred care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to support students in both academic and practice learning environments.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and requires a Disclosure and Barring Service certificate. You are therefore required to disclose details of any criminal record. The University will apply for a DBS certificate before your appointment is confirmed.
