• Total Remuneration $162,470 to $184,987 pa (including salary of $137,290 to $156,317 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)

As a Senior Lecturer in Nursing (Academic Level C), you will make significant leadership contributions to the teaching effort of the School and play a major role in scholarship, research, and professional activities. You will lead high-quality education across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, bring strong professional expertise, and inspire both students and fellow academics through leadership and mentorship.

Position Requirements

• Possession of a doctoral qualification (PhD or equivalent) in a relevant discipline is a requirement of this role.
• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
• Teaching qualifications or willingness to undertake a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Education.
• Understands current professional and educational issues in higher education and can with colleagues across the School and work collaboratively with colleagues to support students and promote CQUniversity.
• Proven research track record through recent published research outputs, with the ability to contribute to research in the School.
• Proven ability to teach and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate University students, together with experience engaging with tertiary students and supporting their educational development through multi-modal delivery strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, mentor junior staff, and contribute to a collaborative academic environment.
• Proven ability to lead projects, supervise research students, and secure competitive research grants. (Desirable)
