"Senior Lecturer in Palliative Care"

Fixed Term Whole Time Post (duration 3 years)

UCC wishes to appoint an academic to the role of Senior Lecturer in Palliative Care. Reporting to the Dean of the School of Medicine, the successful candidate will be expected to take a leadership role in the MSc Palliative Care programme, which is a joint initiative with Marymount University Hospital & Hospice. In addition, they will contribute to undergraduate palliative care education, clinical research and research supervision, apply for research grant funding in line with UCC research priorities, and undertake academic duties within the Department, School and College.

Appointment may be made on the Senior Lecturer Salary Scale: €83,910 - €118,893 (Scale B) / €81,033 - €112,948 (Scale A).

Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
