We are looking for a passionate and student-focused Senior Lecturer in Social Work to join our new and growing team at University College Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of our Social Work programmes and wider Social Work department.

You will be involved in designing and leading engaging, inclusive teaching that applies theory to real-world social work practice. You will also support students/apprentices through their learning journey, helping them to build confidence and professional practice skills.

You will have experience of teaching in Higher Education and leading social approved work programmes. You will also understand the needs of diverse learners and be committed to widening participation. Most importantly, you will care about making a difference—for your learners and for the social work profession.
