Expected skills:

Applicants must show a strong interest in teaching as well as a high-level scientific record in accordance with UGA’s ambitions. They must identify with UGA’s values, that is, being open to the world, emphasising ethics and scientific integrity, showing an interest in teamwork and being committed to the community. They should also have a sense of responsibility, in particular with regard to environmental and social issues.

Context and educational objectives:

Educational expectations
The courses will be taught as part of the Bachelor’s in Economics and Management programme (Grenoble and Valence campuses) and in the Master's in Organisational Economics, mainly in subjects related to organisations, industrial and labour economics and project management. Classes will be taught both in French and in English. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in student supervision (theses, internships, projects, workstudy programs) and to promote their professional integration.

An investment in the organisation and operation of Bachelor's and Master's degrees is expected. This includes, in particular, taking on teaching responsibilities, providing educational support to students (supervising tutored projects, monitoring internships and work-study programmes, supervising dissertations), as well as developing innovative educational projects and international cooperation.

Research project and scientific impact:

Scientific profile
One of CREG laboratory’s research topics, “Organisations and social innovations” focuses on the different economic organisational frameworks (private and public corporations, cooperatives, etc.) and on the issues related to the functioning of institutions that shape modes of social and environmental regulation that continuously develop through time. In the field of Economics of Organizations, Labour Economics and Economics of Institutions, recruiting a new colleague who develops their research from an institutionalist perspective and who is sensitive to political economy approaches, will enable CREG to strengthen its research potential and to sustain its scientific production. The successful candidate is also expected to include the issues related to socio-ecological transition in their research. They will also be required to contribute to the development of national and international partnerships on joint research projects and to participate in the preparation of projects responding to institutional calls for tenders (particularly national and European ones).
