Salary: £59,967 to £67,469 per annum. (Appointment at Lecturer level (salary range: £47,389 - £58,226) will also be considered.)

We wish to appoint a Senior Lecturer/Lecturer within the School of Biology. You will be a scholar with an international research reputation in the effects of climate change on marine species and/or ecosystems, and a track record of delivering high quality teaching within the broad field of Marine Biology. The successful candidate will be expected to have a range of interests, to be active in research publication that strengthens or complements those in the School and to be capable of teaching the subject to undergraduate and taught postgraduate students from a wide range of backgrounds.

Candidates will hold a PhD in a cognate discipline. Excellent teaching skills and an interest in promoting knowledge exchange are essential. You should be able to demonstrate success in attracting research funding and/or other financial support.
