Offer Description

Job Summary/offer: The Clinical Department for Small Animals and Horses is seeking a Senior Lecturer (Prae-Doc), 20 hours/week, fixed term of 4 years.
Tasks: independent teaching in accordance with the collective agreement; participation in research projects, administrative tasks and evaluation measures; supervision of students; doctoral studies (PhD); scientific publication activity; participation in and independent delivery of third mission activities.

Main Research Field: Veterinary Medicine (equine medicine and surgery)

Specific Requirements

Required education, qualifications and skills:

• Completed degree in veterinary medicine
• Relevant professional experience in curative equine practice
• Experience in university teaching
• Experience in communicating with animal owners in the German-speaking region
• Good written and spoken German (B2)
• Good written and spoken English (B2)
• Confident handling of MS Office products
• Driving licence category B

Further desirable qualifications and competences:

• Ability to work in a team and a high level of motivation
