Offer Description
One teacher to the vacant teaching position of Senior Lecturer in the scientific area of biomedicine and health care, field of clinical medical sciences, branch of nursing, at the Department of Nursing of the Faculty of Health Studies, University of Rijeka – on a part-time basis of 3 hours per week, temporary (one year).

Specific Requirements
Applicants for the academic positions must meet the requirements stipulated by the Act on the Higher Education and Scientific Activity, as well as the provisions of Articles 30 and 31 of the Statute of the Faculty of Health Studies, University of Rijeka.
Applicants for the competition must submit:
- the application form,
- a curriculum vitae,
- certified copies of personal documentation (degree certificates, Citizenship Certificate),
- a list of publications, excerpts, indexation, and citation confirmation issued by the Library of Biomedicine and Health Care of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Rijeka,
- applicants who are not Croatian native speakers must submit evidence of Croatian language proficiency at level B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages,
- applicants who acquired foreign education qualifications must submit a decision issued by the competent Croatian authority on the recognition of foreign higher education qualifications.
Application, CV, list of publications, and the required documentation for the selection procedure must be submitted in electronic form.

Eligibility criteria
The application may be submitted by persons of any gender identity (Act on Gender Equality, Official Gazette, No. 82/08 and No. 69/17).

Selection process
By applying to the competition, the applicants explicitly agree that the Faculty of Health Studies of the University of Rijeka, as the controller of the personal data collection, may collect, use, and further process their data for the purpose of conducting selection procedure, in accordance with regulations governing personal data protection.
The Faculty of Health Studies of the University of Rijeka reserves the right not to make a decision on the selection of any candidate, without the obligation to explain its decision or assume any responsibility towards the candidates, and reserves the right to cancel the competition in whole or in part without explanation.
All applicants will be notified of the competition results on the Faculty's website within 8 days from the completion of the selection process.
