One teaching and research position for Senior Lecturer (Civil Servant).

- Activities to be carried out by the successful candidate: Teaching on courses run by the Department of Applied Physics and research into nanomaterials for biomedical applications.

Intended for Doctoral Researchers who have passed the evaluation of the Programme for the Promotion of the Incorporation and Intensification of Research Activity (I3), or who have obtained the certificate as an established researcher (R3).

Skills/Qualifications
- Those applying for the competitions who do not have Spanish nationality must possess a knowledge of Spanish certified with an official C1 of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) level certification or equivalent. Those whose native language is Spanish are exempt from accrediting the aforementioned C1 level. (Quienes se presenten a los concursos y carezcan de la nacionalidad española, deberán poseer un conocimiento del castellano acreditado con una certificación oficial de nivel C1 o equivalente. Quedarán exentas de acreditar el citado nivel C1 aquellas personas cuya lengua materna sea el castellano).
- When a foreign language is consubstantial with the vacancy announced, it must also be accredit by means of an official certificate a level not lower than C1 of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) or equivalent of the corresponding foreign language. Those who will be exempt from accrediting the aforementioned C1 level people whose mother tongue coincides with the foreign language of the vacant position. (Cuando un idioma extranjero sea consustancial con la plaza convocada se deberá también acreditar mediante certificado oficial un nivel no inferior al C1 del MCERL (Marco Común Europeo de Referencia para las Lenguas) o equivalente de la correspondiente lengua extranjera. Quedarán exentas de acreditar el citado nivel C1 aquellas personas cuya lengua materna coincida con el idioma extranjero de la plaza convocada).
- If you completed your studies outside of Spain, your academic qualifications must be recognized or you must hold the corresponding equivalency resolution issued by the Ministry. However, Bachelor's degrees (specifically) issued by universities in Member States of the European Union will be equivalent, for all purposes, to those issued by Spanish universities. (En el caso de haber realizado sus estudios fuera de España, la titulación académica deberá estar homologada o estar en posesión de la resolución de equivalencia correspondiente expedida por el Ministerio. No obstante, los títulos de Grado (concretamente) expedidos por universidades de los Estados miembros de la Unión Europea serán equivalentes, a todos los efectos, a los expedidos por universidades españolas).
Specific Requirements
The participation requirements of applicants must be met by the end date of the application submission period and until the moment of taking office. (Los requisitos de participación de los aspirantes deberán reunirse a la fecha de finalización del plazo de presentación de solicitudes y hasta el momento de la toma de posesión).
- a) Be accredited for the University Teaching Body in question, in accordance with the assumptions provided for in Royal Decree 678/2023. (Hallarse acreditado para el Cuerpo Docente Universitario de que se trate, conforme a los supuestos previstos en el Real Decreto 678/2023).
- b) The place obtained after the access competition must be held for at least two years before being able to participate in a new competition to obtain a place at another university. (La plaza obtenida tras el concurso de acceso deberá desempeñarse durante dos años, al menos, antes de poder participar en un nuevo concurso para obtener una plaza en otra universidad).
- c) It is required to have passed the evaluation of the Program to Incentivize the Incorporation and Intensification of Research Activity (I3), or to have obtained the certificate as an established researcher (R3) (Se requiere haber superado la evaluación del Programa de Incentivación de la Incorporación e Intensificación de la Actividad Investigadora (I3), o haber obtenido el certificado como investigador/a establecido/a (R3).
