Description

The Steve Hicks School of Social Work and the Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin invite applications for a full-time tenured faculty position. We seek a senior level scholar to engage in independent and collaborative research that can bridge disciplines across our two schools.

Successful candidates will demonstrate having an active research program that includes a distinguished record of funding as well as scholarship; and be an accomplished teacher and leader in social work or medical education. Because of the joint appointment associated with this position, experience with social work and health in a clinical setting is especially valued.

Research domains of particular interest to our schools include bioethics, digital health, health technology, and artificial intelligence; as are methodological expertise in community-based participatory research and/or implementation science.

Candidates must meet University of Texas at Austin requirements for rank.
