The Division of Human Resources & Organisation Development (HR&OD) is seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented individual with a passion for the arts and arts education to join us as Senior Manager for Industrial Relations, HR Corporate Services & Digital Transformation.

Reporting to the Senior Director & Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) (LASALLE)/HR Director, University of the Arts Singapore Limited (UAS Ltd), you will work closely with the CHRO to build and foster relationships with the union for smooth industrial relations in LASALLE and UAS Ltd and ensure compliance with labour legislations as well as tripartite standards and guidelines.

You will also function as the Artificial Intelligence (AI) lead/co-lead for the College's digitalisation and AI-driven projects to streamline and automate business and administrative work processes/workflows to enhance productivity/efficiency and workforce capabilities, contributing towards a high-performing future-ready organisation. You will work with colleagues in the HR&OD team to develop and roll out of the digitalisation and AI roadmap to enhance digital literacy and upskilling across various levels at LASALLE and UAS Ltd. This position plays a pivotal role in managing change for workforce transformation, working closely with the union on job redesign and reskilling, if any, arising from digitalisation projects and initiatives.

Working closely with the HROD team, you will ensure the effective implementation of HR policies, practices and processes. You will oversee shared HR corporate services which include the Human Resources Management System, and support continuous improvement and alignment with institutional needs and future-readiness.

This role is employed directly by UAS Ltd.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from an established university in human resources, information technology or a related discipline. IHRP Certification preferred.
• At least 10 years or equivalent of relevant experience in a similar HR role, of which five years and above should be in a managerial role.
• Proven track record and experience in driving business and HR/workforce transformation digitalisation initiatives and implementing AI solutions.
• Experience in leading/managing industrial relations.
• Strong working knowledge of local employment legislation and HR best practices in employee relations.
• Familiarity with digitalisation initiatives in HR, including process automation.
• Sound understanding on use of HR technologies and data analytics and applications
• Good grasp of business and functional requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, a positive work attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Service-oriented with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural and diverse staff and student population.     
• Proficient in operating with Mac platforms, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
