Senior People Services Coordinator [Temporary Cover]
About the role:
The People Services team provides first-line advisory and transactional HR support to staff and managers. You will lead the coordination of this service and team - ensuring efficient processes, excellent service delivery, and continuous improvement through effective use of HR systems and technology.
As the Senior People Services Coordinator you will lead the delivery of a high-quality HR and payroll service across the School. The role provides expert HR advice and operational support across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll, and policy implementation, while also driving service improvement and process efficiency. The post holder manages a small team and plays a key role in ensuring an efficient, professional, and customer-focused HR service.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced HR Assistant or Coordinator with excellent organisational and communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle confidential information. You will have experience of staff supervision or line management, alongside strong knowledge of HR policy and employment law. You will have CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) or equivalent relevant experience.
