Senior Program Administrator
Position Summary
The Community Leadership Center at Rutgers University–Camden is seeking a dynamic Senior Program Administrator to work under the supervision of the Director. The Senior Program Administrator is responsible for supporting the Director in advancing the Center's mission of strengthening leadership, education, and community development. The position focuses on promoting a research agenda that informs program development, documents best practices, and supports data-driven planning and development efforts, ensuring that the Center's work is evidence-based and contributes to broader institutional and community learning. The Senior Program Administrator provides research, program development, grant support, and management of strategic projects as delegated by the Director, ensuring alignment with the Center's vision and priorities.
Minimum Education and Experience
- Master's degree in Public Affairs, Public Policy, Social Work, Education, Urban Studies, or related field
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in research, programming and grant development, and/or community-based initiatives and special projects.

Equipment Utilized
The Senior Program Administrator must be proficient in the use of specialized research, data management, and program development tools to support the work of the Community Leadership Center. Equipment and software may include:
- Research and Data Analysis Software: Qualitative and quantitative packages such as NVivo, Atlas.ti, SPSS, Stata, R, or SAS for coding, statistical analysis, and mixed methods research.
- Data Visualization and Dashboard Platforms: Tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio, or similar platforms for creating dashboards, analyzing student performance data, and presenting trends and comparative results.
- Office and Productivity Tools: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Google Workspace, and project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, or similar).
- Survey and Evaluation Platforms: Software such as Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, or REDCap for data collection and program evaluation.
- Database Management Systems: Familiarity with academic or organizational databases for storing and retrieving research and program data.
- Standard Office Equipment: Computers, printers, projectors, and video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, MS Teams).
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- This position requires extended periods of computer-based work involving data analysis, report preparation, and dashboard development.
- Occasional travel to schools, community partner sites, and university meetings is required; travel may include transporting materials and equipment.
- The role requires the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, often under time-sensitive deadlines.
- The position may require evening and weekend hours to support community events, research activities, or grant-related deadlines.
Salary
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, within university policy and salary schedules, as well as departmental budgets.
