The Oklahoma INBRE program is funded by a 5 year, $20M grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and is the second largest NIH grant in the state of Oklahoma. The program is funded to build biomedical research infrastructure throughout the state and is a multi-faceted effort involving two lead institutions (OUHSC and OMRF), 6 primary undergraduate institutions, and four community colleges.
