Senior Programme Manager, Professional Programmes
The Senior Programme Manager, Professional Programmes plays a central role in the successful delivery and growth of Edconic’s Professional Programmes portfolio. This position is responsible for leading the operational planning, management and delivery of a range of in-person and custom programmes, ensuring an exceptional learner experience while maintaining the highest academic, operational and commercial standards.
Working closely with the Director of Professional, Online and Custom Programmes, the Senior Programme Manager will oversee the end-to-end delivery of a growing portfolio of professional learning programmes. The role involves coordinating faculty, schedules, venues, learning technologies, guest speakers and learner communications, while working collaboratively with Academic teams, Marketing, Enrolment, Finance and Operations colleagues to ensure seamless delivery and strong commercial performance.
The successful candidate will lead programme operations, manage budgets and resources, monitor performance against enrolment and revenue targets, and drive continuous improvement across systems, processes and learner experience. They will also provide leadership to Programme Coordinators and act as a senior operational representative for Professional Programmes across the wider organisation.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced programme manager with a background in higher education, executive education or professional learning. They will be highly organised, commercially aware and confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong project management, stakeholder management and communication skills are essential, along with a commitment to delivering outstanding educational experiences for learners and faculty.
The post holder will be expected to work primarily from the London office and be present throughout programme delivery periods to provide operational leadership and support to learners and faculty. Outside of delivery periods, the role operates on a minimum of three office-based days per week. Flexibility to work occasional evenings for programme delivery, launches and events is required, alongside occasional UK and international travel.
