Senior Project Officer
Job Description:
- Employment Type: Full Time, 35 hours per week
- Duration: Fixed Term Until 30 November 2029
- Remuneration: Professional Level 7 ($113K - $120 K) based on experience + 17% Super
- Location: Sydney, New South Wales. Occasional travel to General practice research sites to perform on-site monitoring will be required.

Position Summary
The Senior Project Officer will play a key role within the School of Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine and Health, providing high-level project management and operational support for the Scalable Allied Health and General Practice Responses to Long-COVID in Primary Care (SAGE) Trial, funded by the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF).
Reporting to the Chief Investigator (Senior Lecturer), the role is responsible for coordinating the implementation and delivery of primary care–based research projects, including project planning, reporting, ethics and governance submissions, study documentation, and data collection activities. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders, the Senior Project Officer ensures research projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with governance, quality, and confidentiality requirements. The role has no direct reports.
