response to the challenges and opportunities worldwide and also specifically under the aegis of the government's priority on innovation and technology development.

Reporting to the Principal Investigator or his/her delegate, the candidate will be responsible for conducting research and development at an off-campus laboratory located at the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks.

Responsibilities:

The appointee will perform the following duties:

Manage project administration for research and development initiatives;
Participate in research and development of new drug products;
Assist with planning, designing and implementing laboratory experiments;
Maintain detailed laboratory records and documentation of experimental procedures and results;
Support liaison with internal teams and external stakeholders; and
Support all matters related to the research projects.

Requirements:

A bachelor's degree or above from a recognised university in science or related field, with at least 3 years of post-qualification research experience;
Hands-on experience with molecular biology and mass spectrometry techniques;
Experience in drug development is a plus;
A passionate and dynamic individual who possesses strong analytical and interpersonal skills, is attentive to details, and is a self-starter with the ability to work under pressure; and
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills (English, Cantonese, Putonghua).

The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of up to two years subject to renewal upon satisfactory performance.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
