Senior Research Assistant
Job Description
The Senior Research Assistant will join the School of Public Health's Department of Health Services, Policy, and Practice. The role will be based in the Center for Health System Sustainability (CHeSS). The Senior Research Assistant will support research on pharmaceutical economics and policy, particularly issues related to drug pricing and access to medicines in high- and middle-income countries. The research is aimed at enhancing the performance, equity, and sustainability of health systems internationally.
The Senior Research Assistant will work closely with the Faculty, and other research team members on a wide range of project-related tasks. Responsibilities will include literature reviews, data management (collection, cleaning, and analysis), manuscript preparation, and grant writing. The Senior Research Assistant will also collaborate closely with other faculty and staff to support center operations and external partnerships with academic and policy stakeholders.

All offers of employment are contingent upon a criminal background check and education verification that are satisfactory to Brown University. This is a fixed-term position with a current end date of 06/30/2027, which may be extended based upon available funding.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Economics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field and 3-5 years of relevant research experience, preferably with a focus on pharmaceuticals.
